Description:
A case method approach to urban planning. Students are supplied with a standard ''request for a proposal'' for a master plan. As an end product, they must present and submit a proposal for review. Class work focuses on how to use the planning process to design a master plan and on various approaches to designing zoning ordinances and land-use controls.ENVSCI 375L and UPCD 375L are the same course.
